University Graphic Systems is divided into eleven departments run by a group of student managers through the Graphic Communication Department at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Like most commercial printers, UGS is organized into the areas of marketing, sales, estimating, prepress, sheetfed and web offset lithography, and bindery. What is innovative about UGS is the newly implemented departments, Lean and Knowledge Management. To learn more about the department and the managers, click the links to the left.
Our press areas consists of sheetfed and web presses, run by separate managers because of their different products and capabilities.
