• Mohr Polar Cutter
  • The Polar Cutter is a programmable guillotine cutter used in the UGS Bindery. It is currently used to cut press sheets prior to folding, and stitching, as well as for precutting parent sheets to press sheet size.
• MBO Buckle Folder
  • The MBO Buckle folder is used for folding brochures, and signatures to be saddle stitched or perfect bound.
• Müller-Martini Presto Saddle Stitcher
  • The Müller-Martini Presto Saddle Stitcher, is used to create saddle-stitched books, and catalogs. The machine gathers and collates folded signatures, stitches them, and moves them through a three-knife trim where they are cut, completed and ready to be packed and delivered.
• Müller-Martini Amigo Plus Perfect Binder
  • The Müller-Martini Amigo Plus Perfect Binder is a hot melt glue binder that creates perfect bound books. Pre-collated book blocks are fed into the machine, where the spines are ground in a milling station, and moved into two glue units where glue is applied, and the cover is attached.
• Heidelberg Windmill
  • The Heidelberg Windmill is a letterpress that UGS uses for foil stamping and foil embossing.
